THE BEST ROOT BEER EVER. Pardon my enthusiasm, but it had to be said upfront. I had no expectations driving in, but, boy, was I amazed. What sparked my attention were old fashioned A&W glass mugs on the counter. Turns out, this place used to be an A&W but turned independent in 1999 and has been rocking since. To get back to the point: the draft root beer is the most amazing I have ever had, and I have tasted A LOT of them! It has the unparalleled core flavor profile of draft A&W root beer with all the key extra characteristics - long-lasting creamy foam, intense sweetness, vanilla taste and that "special something" which I can't put my finger on, but they added a whole lot of it! Truly amazing. This root beer was a like a drug to me. Buy it by the gallon and spread the word. I only wish I actually lived anywhere close to New Philadelphia, OH.

Found this place on my way back home from a road trip once, and it is such a nice hidden gem when you want a quick bite that isn't a big name franchise. Always fast, always friendly, and always tasty

The food and root beer float was good, main problem, my bill was over $10 more than expected to feed my family lunch. When I asked to see my receipt and compared it to the menu prices I seen my calculations are correct, I was overcharged. I asked a waitress about it and she said all the menu prices are wrong. The owner needs to fix this

All the different types of food are great and worth a try. The steak sandwich and criss cut fries are my favorite. The Root Beer though is the absolute diamond here though. Any root beer connoisseur will be in heaven with it. Thick, rich, smooth and everything your taste buds desire. Enjoy!

Fantastic root beer. I would recommend staying and drinking it out of a cold glass mug. (Although they do have to-go cups...glass is better imo)

A great place to take the kids on a hot day, for a Rootbeer float. Family owned with great good food and friendly service. There Rootbeer is one for the books, with a smooth delightful flavor. You can even order a gallon to go.

Drove 2 hours to this place on a whim for no reason that having a road trip. Perfect little drive-in spot. Highlights are the fries, Coney sauce, and the pizza bits. The burger and the corn dog were actually just whatever but those items made it worth it. Sure they have some more jems on the menu. Also, you can get the root beer in milk jugs to go...

Horrible. The onion rings and cheese sticks were so greasy and overly deep fried it was awful. They forgot 2 food items we ordered for our children. The root beer had ice in it so it was watered down. New management there needs to train their employees better. We won't order from there anymore. Waste of money.

Homemade Root beer was amazing. Fried appetizers were great, especially the fries which seemed to be battered in something before being fried. Burgers were ok, though we felt that BK had better burgers. Service was good but could have been a bit faster. Overall great experience for us and for the money.

Great root beer stand that will allow anyone young or old to take a moment to stop and relax and enjoy a simpler time. The root beer and root beer floats are amazing, cream of chicken sandwiches, breaded mushrooms and waffle cut fries make for a fantastic meal to share or eat on your own. The car side service is fantastic but if you don't have a car don't worry you can still sit at the bar. Great symbol of summertime in Tuscarawas county!
